New OSHA Publication Boosts Awareness of OSHA’s Fall Protection in Construction Standard

Falls continue to be the leading cause of fatalities in construction, accounting for about one-third of all fatalities in the industry. OSHA has developed a standard for fall protection that deals with both human and equipment-related issues in protecting workers from fall hazards.

New Fall Protection Resource for Residential Construction

The Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) Data Center, in conjunction with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), has funded the development of a new educational website that catalogs fall protection equipment for residential construction.

Fall Protection in Three Steps: Plan, Provide, Train
