The OSHA Outreach Training Program is a voluntary program that provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. OSHA authorizes trainers who complete the 4-day training course in construction, general industry, maritime industry or disaster site preparedness to conduct the 10-hour and 30-hour construction, general industry, maritime industry or disaster site preparedness safety and health hazard recognition and prevention courses.
