The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other federal safety agencies have designated May 2-6, 2016, for the third annual National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction.

Reminder: New OSHA Outreach Program Cards Coming in March 2016

OSHA is introducing new and improved Outreach Training Program trainer and student course completion cards for construction, general industry, maritime and disaster site worker. New OSHA Publication Boosts Awareness of OSHA’s Fall Protection in Construction Standard

Falls continue to be the leading cause of fatalities in construction, accounting for about one-third of all fatalities in the industry. OSHA has developed a standard for fall protection that deals with both human and equipment-related issues in protecting workers from fall hazards.
